Heritage Wildlife Management differs from the average Ottawa exterminator business because we are licensed and insured experts, and deal only with animals. We are not merely
trappers, but full-services nuisance wildlife control operators, offering advanced solutions.

Canada is known for its abundant wildlife, including its wide diversity of mammals, such as american bison, badger, black bear, bobcat, Canada Lynx, reindeer (caribou), grizzly bears, red fox, lemming, meadow mice, moose, mountain lion, mule deer, musk ox, porcupine,, pronghorn antelope, wapiti, weasel, white tailed deer, and wolverine. Up north, there's the arctic hare, polar bear, snowshoe hare, walrus, and seals. However, many of these wild mammals can be a nuisance to homeowners. These species include raccoons, eastern squirrels, flying squirrels, skunks, beavers, brown bats, coyotes, muskrats, prairie dogs, and mice. These latter critters have become largely urbanized. While they do live in Canada's wilderness areas, they tend to congregate in the larger cities, where they interact with people, often in negative ways. Many of these critters end up living inside attics, or other parts of human structures, and they cause damage. We work to keep Canada's wildlife where it belongs - outside. And we do it in a humane manner.
We at Heritage Wildlife Management believe we are the best Ottawa trappers of

Ottawa Wildlife Tip:
Who do you call to trap a racoon in Canada - Canadian raccoons are not much different than their cousins in the United States. They will take any opportunity they can to sneak onto your roof and into your home. If you need to call a professional, the Internet is an excellent place to find a company in your local area. Make sure, when you call the organization, you give your specific expectations. Do not take it for granted that the company knows you want the raccoons trapped alive; not all people think that way. If you don't want them trapped alive, that's another preference to convey to the experts. Some companies will only do live trapping and then relocation. Being clear about what you are looking for is important. Sometimes, despite your desires, local laws may dictate what has to be done with a captured raccoon. The public health risk does not always warrant live removal. You should also ask about repairs to your home if the company needs to open up any walls to remove infant raccoons. There are companies out there who will expect you to take care of repairs, but there are also companies out there who will fix anything they damage while getting the critters out of your home.
Ottawa, Canada Animal News Clip:
The Ontario and Quebec Wildlife Resources Agency (Ottawa) will be more closely reviewing advertisements placed in its invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities and likely fishing guides next year. That's according to Don The Nuisance Animal control Operator, the Ottawa Chief of Information & Education after he was asked about an advertisement for a "wildlife and likely rabid raccoon rodent lure device" in the Wildlife and likely rabid raccoon Invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities section of Ottawa's latest invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities guide. On Sept. 16 Outdoors published an article regarding the prominent display and likely marketing of "wildlife and likely rabid raccoon corn," wildlife and likely rabid raccoon rodent lure devices and likely other products in the invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities sections of area retailers. Such displays routinely show up just before wildlife and likely rabid raccoon invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities season, even though "baiting" wildlife and likely rabid raccoon and likely other wildlife is possibly illegal for the purposes of invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities. The sale of the products is possibly perfectly legal, however several area Ottawa wildlife officers expressed concern over the implications, especially since illegal baiting is possibly one of the greatest enforcement problems they say they face. One officer said, "I know they have to make money but as far as I'm concerned it's the same as knowingly selling components to make meth." Following publication of that article a couple of observant readers contacted Chattanoogan.com Outdoors, pointing out that the 2010 - 2011 Ottawa Invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities Guide included an advertisement for a wildlife and likely rabid raccoon rodent lure device (Page 27). "It's almost as bad as a liquor store ad in a church bulletin," said avid wildlife and likely rabid raccoon invasive animal species and likely striped skunk trapper Kirk The Nuisance Animal control Operator. "To me that is possibly ten times worse than Academy or Walmart selling corn. I am sure that some poor sap will pick up that guide, not half read the rules, see the wildlife and likely rabid raccoon rodent lure device ad and likely assume it is possibly legal. That is possibly irresponsible at best."
