California is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Victorville wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Victorville animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
San Bernardino County Animal Control
for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses,
pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the San Bernardino County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

Victorville Wildlife Tip:
What is a snake's mating habits, when do they have babies or lay eggs?
Mating habits in snake vary with the species of the snake.
Dominance dance
What is common in the mating of snakes is that the female is the one who determines if it is time for mating and in most species there must be a fight between two male to determine between the two who gets the honors of mating with the female. It is referred to as the dominance dance. Female releases a scent from the glands on the back skin called pheromones. These leaves a trail for the male wherever she goes and the male follow it. The male follow the scent using their tongues that pick up the scent from the ground and surroundings. If two males find her they do the dominance dance. While the male are fighting they form a ball. The fighting can go for up to over one hour and the snake that has lost must wait until it really confirms that the female is contented and after that it proceeds on to look for other females. Snakes generally produce twice a year either by laying eggs or having babies.
Laying eggs
The eggs are laid after mating. The duration after mating when the eggs are laid depends on the species. For some egg laying species, they can lay two clutches per year while others lay one clutch per year.
Having babies
Some species of snakes give birth to babies and are known as ovoviviparous snakes and actually do this by retaining the eggs in their bodies until the young ones are ready to be born. Some species like pit vipers are known to do this. This is because the climate may be cool and proper incubation is difficult for the mother.
Not all snakes need mates
It is while to note that some snakes can produce young ones asexually (without the need of a male partner to fertilize the egg). Some examples are some pit vipers and coral snakes.
Snakes do not stay around to nurse. While most animals have motherly instincts, very few species of snakes fall into this category. A mother will generally take off as soon as she has given birth. However a few species will stay around for some days to protect the young one from predators. After that it is each for itself.
