Connecticut is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Madison wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Madison animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

County Animal ServicesDOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local New Haven County Animal Control for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the New Haven County animal control, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that helps with dog and cat issues only.

Madison Wildlife Tip:
Trap For Ceiling Walls squirrel - If you have a squirrel problem it is important that it is dealt with correctly in order that the problem is not made much worse and to prevent any more damage being done to your home by these very determined rodents. Once you realize you have squirrels you must start to do a little bit of detective work. If you hear noises in the walls or the ceiling then it is likely that the squirrels are running around in there. The method of dealing with squirrels is always the same - there is no special trap for ceiling walls squirrel. The first thing to do is to find the squirrel run and to find how it is getting in and out of your home; it may be that the squirrel is using several entry ways.

It is important NOT to block all of these up - if you do that you run the risk of an angry squirrel chewing its' way back in (or out) at any cost - and that cost to you will probably be huge. Always leave one entry way clear and use this one to locate your baited trap. It is important to leave the trap baited and in place for some time to ensure that you have all the squirrels - if there is a nest for example then babies may well have been left behind.

Madison, CT Animal Control News Clip:
CT wild animal control companies weather anxious wait

There is some truth to it. "Every couple of years, it seems like it does happen that way," declared Jones, small game coordinator for the Connecticut Division of Wildlife. "In my mind, it was like that last year." That a true cold front might be waiting in the wings to quash wildlife trapping hopes is all the more disturbing this July, because the stakes are high. Rodents, by most reports, have enjoyed banner spring and summer breeding. One Front Range scout declared he watched "tons" of Rodents trading back and forth recently at a spot he often catches northeast of SITY. Wildlife information of this nature is considered a tool to conservationists.

"They must have circled three or four times," he declared. "I don't care how hot it gets. It can be 110 degrees on the first of February. Just don't let it be cold." Up in the foothills at 9,000 feet, the home test group was about equal in amounts to last summer, which was pretty good. But chill rains and double-blanket nights have made them antsy. Most of those Rodents grouped up and fled the juniper and ponderosa pine country a couple days ago - at least two weeks early. The crickets already have switched to their low autumn cadence. The local Guiford, CT wildlife control operator agrees with most of the above.
