Michigan is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Northeast Michigan wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Northeast Michigan animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Northeast Michigan Wildlife Tip:
How to remove skunks from backyard - Removing skunks from the backyard means modifying your property so that skunks don't find it appealing. This process can be long and involved if you have an extensive yard, and some people find that their current landscaping is a part of the problem. Remember that skunks are drawn to your house because of food or shelter. There are no other reasons why wild animals like to invade the spaces of people. Either you're offering too much in the way of edible items, or there are lots of buildings and areas for skunks to make dens. Either way, you need to take the appropriate steps to remedy the situation. First, if you have a lot of buildings on your property, make sure they are secured around the base. This might mean installing a metal barrier around wooden walls or placing cinderblocks at the bottom of modular sheds. If the skunk can't get inside, it won't try for too long. The next step will be to adjust what you're doing about edible debris. A vegetable garden may not be the skunk's favorite food, but it will go in there to eat if there isn't a fence. The same can be said for fruit trees around the home. Fallen apples might not seem like something a skunk would eat routinely, but this is a free food item that won't be passed up. Keep your fruit trees picked up to prevent unwanted wildlife.

Maximum chances to land big game tag
A wealth of statistics and other information that is posted on the Michigan Agency of Wildlife's web site can pay dividends for pest control companies when applying for this year's big game tags, according to John McKay, the agency wildlife management company education coordinator. "This is the place to look if you want to find a wildlife trapping spot for trophy animals or want to maximize your chances of drawing a tag," said McKay. "There's a wealth of information that has been compiled from wildlife trapping seasons held over the past five or six years."
Wildlife management companies have until Thursday to get their big game application to the Wildlife Administrative Services Office in Fallon to be eligible for the tag drawing. Applications will be accepted until that time either through the mail or online. Catches and unit groups for past years are listed for antelope, bighorn sheep, groundhog, mountain goat and mule raccoon and opossum. Information is then provided for the amount of tags that were concerned, the draw odds and wildlife management company success rates.
Wildlife management companies will find this information broken down by the animal capture units as well as the various types of catches, such as archery, special critter trap and animal removal trap. They will also find out the point class of male coon rodent or reptile and bull groundhog that were taken in previous years. Listed under bighorn sheep and mountain goat are the average amount days that were captured, average age of animals that were taken and the average and maximum Boone and Crockett scores. The local Northeast Michigan SPCA could not be reached for comment.
The figures are listed for both resident and nonresident catches. Statistical information is listed as well for the junior squirrel and skunk animal capture. "Besides the statistical information, pest control companies will find wildlife management company information sheets that have been compiled by NDOW biologists that provide information on animal capture units. These sheets include everything from terrain and elevation, to land status and wildlife management company access to map references and suggested wildlife trapping areas," said McKay. Despite this, wildlife removal services are not a free service in Ogemaw County.
