New Jersey is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Salem wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Salem animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local

pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Salem County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

Salem Wildlife Tip:
How to catch a baby opossum - Would you know what to do if you were to come across a baby opossum? In fact, would you know what to do with an adult opossum, should you ever find one living in your house? For most people, the answer would be a no, but the thing with babies is that their life will quite literally be in your hands. Thankfully, the responsibility will be taken away from you if the critter is around seven inches long, from nose to tail, or longer. At this stage of its life, it will be relatively grown up enough to deal with life alone, and if you can, it would probably be best to leave the little cutie to its own devices. Of course, if it really is bugging you that much, you could always call an animal control professional to come and evict the squatter, or alternatively, you can go ahead and trap/release the animal, just as you would do with an adult opossum. You will usually find that once the opossum is weaned from its mother, it will leave the nest anyway, so sometimes it can pay to just leave it well alone and have a little patience. If the animal is smaller than seven inches, time is of the essence. Firstly, you will need to figure out whether it is orphaned or not. The last thing that you will want to do is remove the animal when its mother or siblings are nearby, so have a good listen out for the familiar "choo choo" or sneezing noise that the animal makes when it is calling for its mother. You will usually hear more than one sneezing noise, and this will be your indication that there are other babies nearby. If you have found a family of opossums living in your home or yard, the best thing that you can do is to call a professional to deal with the situation properly. You should not attempt to raise this animal, unless you are trained to do so, simply because you could feed it the wrong diet, and this will lead to a very ill animal and even death in some cases.

How to Trap a Skunk
Skunks are very cute to look at because of their chubby, furry bodies. However, they are not good to have as pets or even near us, unless you don't have a sense of smell. They should be in an isolated place far, far away from the human society. Skunks can be very territorial once they have chosen a shelter.
It's really hard to capture a skunk because of the fear of getting sprayed with its stink bomb. That is why we have this article to help you guys with your skunk problems. So, what would you do if you encounter a skunk in your house? This is what will most likely happen because skunks like to stay under sheds where they feel comfy, warm and safe. They love to make our houses as their shelter because it keeps them out of bad weather.
According to skunk experts, it's good to have a habit of keeping a couple of harmless traps for skunk situations. You can shop online for skunk traps in Parson Pest control's website or you can go to a hardware shop near you. Hardware shops always have traps for sale. Choose the humane traps because we wouldn't want to hurt our cute and furry friends. And make sure that the humane traps you purchase are spray proof because not all traps are.
Now, if you don't want to purchase anything, you can always opt for calling animal control to help you with your skunk problem. But make sure that you really have a skunk problem before you call animal control, because we wouldn't want to cause false alarms, right? And another thing is that, calling animal control is not a good idea if you are planning on not hurting the skunk. Because what the animal control does is that, they euthanize them.
Sounds terrible and I know a lot of people would not agree with this kind of procedure. But according to animal control, they do this due to rabies. However, I still don't see why they have to euthanize the creature because they can always use anti-rabies on the animal and just release it on an isolated place. I mean, how hard can that be?
Anyway, to know if a skunk is near you, look around you house. Look for skunk footprints, this will lead you to them, but don't get too close once you see them because you might make them feel ambushed which will trigger their protective instinct and spray you. So, always keep in mind not to poke them or make them feel trapped, unless you're really using a trap. If you don't like using a trap or calling animal control, that's okay. Because you can always do it cowboy style if you're man enough.
For cowboy style, all you need is a tarp that can cover the whole front part of your body and a rope. Once you have these tools, all you have to do is go near the skunk, cover the front part of your body then jump the skunk like a wrestler and wrestle it like a crocodile. Once you have the skunk wrapped up, pick it up, tie the opening like a balloon, and take the wrapped skunk into the trunk of your car and drive somewhere far from your place which is isolated.
To release the skunk, just loosen the rope, enough for the skunk to get out and run back to your car and drive away. I'm sure that's going to take care of your skunk problem. This style is good for experiencing on how to handle skunks. It's cheap and safe. However, the question is, do you have the courage? Good luck.
