Ohio is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Medina wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Medina animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local

pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Medina County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that

Medina Wildlife Tip:
What Are Some Of The Ways Of Killing Squirrels - Once you have caught one or more squirrels in a trap, you may be wondering how you can kill them. Many people do not think about the method they use for killing animals - they just want to get rid of the pests. However, it is important that if you are putting an animal down, you do it in a humane way that does not cause suffering. This is not only an ethical problem but also a legal one - if you are found to have caused unnecessary harm to a non-domestic animal you can be fined a lot of money and given criminal charges. These regulations apply to the treatment of all animals but only recently have the laws against treatment of non-domestic animals been given the same amount of thought.
Some ways to kill squirrels that are considered to be humane include things like drowning and poisoning, as well as a shot to the head. This is because the animal dies quickly. Another humane method is giving it a strong blow to the back of the head. Most people who try to kill squirrels will not do so without causing pain, however humane they are trying to be, so the best method may be to hire in a professional.
Medina, OH Animal Control News Clip:
How to scare away Canada Geese - Every year many places such as parks, cemeteries, baseball fields, back yards and even green belts are flooded with slippery messy droppings of Canada geese. It definitely can be very distressing to have you backyard under a smelly pile of poop. It becomes even worse when you have kids who may be playing in the backyard. The problem goes beyond slipping on the slippery sticky goose poop since there are health implications to think about. Undoubtedly, quite a number of us have found it a herculean task to get the Canadian geese to keep off their back yards. Nevertheless, there are several ways in which you can scare away the Canadian geese. To begin with, you could make your backyard less hospitable for the Canadian geese by incorporating herding dogs. As far as the flurry companion would not kill them but only chases them, you definitely would not require a permit. On the same note, it would be important that you do not allow anyone to feed them. While you may be sufficiently philanthropic as to feed the Canadian geese in your backyard, understand that this would only complicate your desire to scare them away. In any case, feeding them would be irresponsible since it would discourage the wild animals from becoming independent.
Talking of feeding the Canada geese, it would be important that you eliminate their source of food. This would be achieved by making your lawn unpalatable or unpleasant to them. The market is laden with numerous products such as methylanthranilate (a derivative of grapes) which could be used to flavor your lawn. The products may be sprayed easily on your lawn and grow in the grass blades thereby making it unpleasant for them. This will force them to move to another area with more palatable grass. The good thing about the geese repellant is that it is safe for use both in public and private areas and does not harm people or other animals. One of the most effective ways of scaring away the Canadian geese is by use of decoy. There are two types of decoys you could use including goose decoys and predator decoys. As for goose decoys, you would need to use the dead type. Canada geese cannot stand seeing dead geese. It actually would be a warning that land is not safe at all. The good thing about decoys is that you would not have to kill any of the Canada geese but rather just deter them from coming into your land. For the goose decoy, you would need two of them; one to be floated on water surface and the other on land.
In an effort to scare the Canada geese, you could modify the landscape of your yard. Canada geese would be attracted to wide and open areas in which nothing would hinder their visibility on any likely predator. In this case, how about planting low-lying bushes and shrubs in your yard? This could be particularly effective when planted along water area shores. It definitely transforms the Canadian geese haven into relatively uncomfortable (and undesirable) place for them. Alternatively, you could use sounds to scare away the birds. If you have no problem with the occasional squawking sounds of different wild birds, you could use recorder distress sounds. Have them amplified across the yard to scare the Canadian geese away. This is especially when they use the property as the landing pad. In case all the likely non-lethal options of scaring the Canadian geese have been ineffective, maybe you should consider expanding your options to the lethal ones. You can always get the permit from the government especially if the birds are a threat to humans and property.
