Customer Opossum Email: Dear David: Love your opossum photo gallery!!! I would like to use some of your pix/ and see more that you might have to offer......I am open to negotiation as to your compensation for their use. I am a recently disabled home maker who would like to make opossum greeting cards, t-shirts and ect. giftwares to help rehabbers raise funds for animal care, and to make a little money myself. I especially love opossums, having been a invalid opossum care taker for two injured males who could not return to the wild, an NOS member, and am studying care continually to update, so I work with and know a few other rehabbers. Hope to hear from you soon!!! Thanks!! Terri Thank you for the generous offer, and I really do want to try and use some of your pix...I am not up and running just yet, but will be happy to provide a link when I get organized that well...Would also be willing to make t-shirts for you to advertise yourself with out of some of these things....(mouse pads, totes, t-shirts, magnets, ect. ) I have offered the same deal to all my rehabber contacts that have agreed to let me use pix they have taken.....no firm contract info just yet, I'm still in the learning stages, but I would like to compensate you fairly....It's not just everywhere you can get good close up pix of opossum/skunk/ raccoon that would make cute, funny, & some seriously beautiful giftware....ect. Thanks for your reply, I'll be in touch!! Drop a note when you can!!!!! THANKS!!! Terri

The opossum, also commonly called the possum, is actually named the Virginia Opossum (Didelphis virginiana), and it is the only marsupial native to North America. Possums have several unique traits. Most people know that they
sometimes "play possum" which is a form of playing dead, and they also know that opossums can hang from their tails. But possums are unique in many other ways - they have a low body temperature that prevents many viruses and
diseases from affecting them, that tail is prehensile (they can grip things with it) they have opposable thumbs, and they have 50 teeth, the most of any land mammal. They are very opportunistic and good climbers, which causes them to
commonly break into decks, sheds, and attics, where they cause considerable damage, leave a lot of droppings, and they often die and stink in these areas. Thus, opossums
are considered pest animals by many people, which is why I remove them. If you want to learn more, please read my How To Get Rid of Opossums page.
AAAnimal Control is a privately owned wildlife removal and pest control business, located in Orlando Florida. I deal strictly with wild animals. I am not an extermination company, but a critter removal
and control specialist. The above photos are some of the many that I've taken in the field over my years of work. Please email me if
you have any questions about the above photographs, or any questions about
wildlife problems or opossum control issues.
