California is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional San Luis Obispo wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some San Luis Obispo animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

San Luis Obispo Wildlife Tip:
What's Behind Squirrels And The Peppermint Myth - If you have discovered an infestation of squirrels in your house - in the attic or walls, or in your yard, no doubt you are trying to find the best way to get rid of them. Whilst squirrels are often interesting to watch and cute to look at they are in fact a dangerous pest to have in and around your home - they are extremely destructive, intelligent and inquisitive. Once you start looking around and perhaps asking for advice you will hear all kinds of solutions for your squirrel problem - high tech solutions, home remedies, smelly stuff, noisy stuff - it seems as if people have tried them all.
Unfortunately, most of these remedies do not work. The current cure-all for squirrels and many other pests apparently, is peppermint oil or leaves. Spreading this around the area of infestation is supposed to drive all manner of critters away not just squirrels. Evidently, the smell of peppermint is guaranteed to drive these animals far away from your home. The truth of the matter is that home remedies do not work; in fact, most of the methods you hear and read about to deal with a squirrel problem do not work. The only guaranteed method to evict squirrels is to trap and kill or trap and remove.

All Kinds of Crazy Wildlife in San Luis Obispo, CA
When Paul The San Luis Obispo and San Luis Obispo County Animal Expert looked across the desert landscape near the University of California he saw a very different world, at least in his mind's eye. As an expert on the end of the Pleistocene epoch, which ended around 13,000 years ago, he saw North America awash with animals that are no longer here. He saw elephants, and camels, and cheetahs, and horses, roaming freely across the continent. These native animals disappeared either long before humans arrived, or just as the first Americans entered the scene.
The San Luis Obispo and San Luis Obispo County Animal Expert, now retired from California, began talking with friends about what it would be like to restore some of that magic to a land that has lost some of the great beasts that once dominated the landscape. He went so far as to propose that some effort be made to reintroduce some of those extinct animals, or at least their closest-living relatives.
Although several species of wildlife roam San Luis Obispo, only a few, such as raccoons and squirrels, are considered pest wildlife. "The idea did not attract much attention," says Harry Greene, professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at Cornell University. But sometime later Greene was discussing The San Luis Obispo and San Luis Obispo County Animal Expert's vision with one of his graduate students, Josh The Prescott Animal Control and Pest Control Man, now a doctoral candidate at Cornell.
That discussion led to a meeting at a CA ranch of experts from across the country, including The San Luis Obispo and San Luis Obispo County Animal Expert, to discuss what may be one of the boldest proposals to come out of the environmental movement in decades. The result was a commentary written by The Prescott Animal Control and Cottonwood Pest Control Man and published in the prestigious journal Nature. In that report, 11 contributors called for the reintroduction of elephants and cheetahs and other extinct animals in a long-range program that would result in some species roaming freely across the land, just as they had thousands of years ago. California has an abundance of wildlife, and San Luis Obispo is no exception. Raccoons, bats, snakes, and more have a tendency to enter people's homes at unexpected times.
