Rats or mice are one of the most troublesome of the residential pests. They carry and transmit a lot of diseases, making them dangerous. Also, they chew threw the things around and make a mess. Usually rat poison is used to get rid of rats easily. There are pellets that can be used as food baits to lure them and poison them.

Most rat poison is anticoagulants and it is possible that at times, a few rats may not eat this ingested food. However, mostly they do, and the poison slowly starts taking effect. Usually, it takes about 6 to 30 pellets of poison to kill a rat. Generally, they may continue to feed for a few days even after the first dose, if minor poisons are used.
