The Black racer snakes are known to be mostly in the southern area of the United States. The snake is known to be non-venomous and usually timid in nature unless attacked or feel threatened. The Appearance

The adult of this snake measured 20 to 56 inches and the highest length of adult black racer snake is about 70 inches. This snake specie has slim body usually covered with smooth scale. There are about seventeen rows of scale on the back and mostly in the middle of the body. Over the body other body of this snake is marked dull color. The dorsal side of this snake is known to be black with grey contrast on the belly. The jaw and the throat are known to be whitish in color.
