Oklahoma is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Guthrie wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Guthrie animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Guthrie Wildlife Tip:
What To Do About A Squirrel Under The Porch

Do you find squirrels always dancing on the tree branches in your garden? Most of the time, homeowners enjoy their activities around the house in the beginning. But with time they start realizing how terrible these creatures are actually. Some of these rodents will even start nesting under the porch in your premises, and you may also find their babies in this area. But before you take any step for their removal, it is important to understand what is attracting these rodents to your porch. Probably, there is something they love the most or that makes their nests more comfortable and cozy. Moreover, they are happy to live here because no one is going to disturb them in this rare portion of the house. It's true! Because most of the homeowners never pay attention to what is happening on their porch and with time they end up facing serious rodent infestation. Even if your porch does not have an entry hole for rodents; they are capable enough to create one; especially when you do not create a threat to them.

Experts say that squirrels are very intelligent creatures and they are usually difficult to trap. Yet, the best time to take squirrels out of your porch is in the early spring; right before they give birth to little babies. You can also take a chance to relocate them by the late fall season when the newborn babies become capable enough to survive on their own. Never ever try to relocate mother squirrel alone from your porch because the litter behind can die without mother. You have to take them all together and leave them at a safe place where they can avail enough resources for survival.

If you are planning to remove squirrels by your own; you need to collect few essential materials. The list includes a battery-operated light, plastic bag, ammonia or any other disinfectant, steel mesh, rags, and a source of the heavy noise. Start by placing the ammonia-soaked rag or any other potential repellent under your porch. Now fix a light source near this region but make sure it works wirelessly because if the wire runs near porch area; the squirrel may chew it up soon. It is important to place the soaked rag in a well punched plastic bag so that it does not dry out fast. Now switch on the sound source such as radio, and place it near entrance hole of the porch area. Play radio at the maximum sound and you may need to keep it on for at least 48 hours.

This arrangement will soon distract squirrels from porch area, and they will look for any other nest t build nest. As soon as they leave, clean the porch area and seal the entry hole to make sure they do not find a way to return again. In case if you are not able to get successful results using this method, prefer to call professional squirrel removal team to handle the situation.
