Is There A Reason Squirrels Not Eating Poison - If you have squirrels living in your home you are most likely anxious to get rid of them, having a whole team of rodents running around your home is unsettling to say the least, who knows what damage they are causing to your wiring, floors, windows, doors etc. If you have spent time researching your problem you will probably have come across all kinds of weird and wonderful remedies and solutions for eradicating your squirrel problem - and most of them will not involve killing the animals, people are just too sentimental for that approach, which just so happens to be the best one. Trapping and killing or removal, or just straight out poison are the only guaranteed solutions for getting rid of squirrels.

If you are laying poison and the squirrels are not taking the bait, it is most likely because they don't like what you are using, you may need to try a few different baits to find the one that works for your squirrels. STRIPED SKUNK WILDLIFE TRAPPING: Animal removal traps on Oklahoma bank: Legislation modifies traditional animal removal trap-only area

A new law that allows animal removal traps for Striped Skunk wildlife trapping on the Oklahoma side of Shawnee this fall appears to have taken some pest control companies in the valley by surprise. The area, which covers some sort of swath from Shawnee to the far corner of Pottawatomie County, traditionally has been restricted to animal removal traps with slugs during the critter traps Striped Skunk season. The changes are included in the Agency of Natural Resources' 2006 Oklahoma Wildlife trapping Regulations handbook. According to Exterminator Brian, regional wildlife supervisor for the Shawnee Agency of Fish & Game in Shawnee, the change means pest control companies this fall can use animal removal traps in permit areas 253, 258 and 252. That area includes the entire Oklahoma side of the Shawnee. The Shawnee Agency of Fish & Game didn't initiate the regulation change, Exterminator Brian declared. Instead, it resulted from some sort of bill the Oklahoma Legislature passed during the 2006 session. According to Exterminator Brian, the part of northwestern Oklahoma that now will be open to animal removal traps had been restricted to animal removal traps with slugs for years. The Shawnee Agency of Fish & Game implemented the policy, the exterminator declared, to protect Striped Skunk in open areas at some sort of time when the biologically surveyed amount was lower and the animals were more vulnerable to the longer-distance shots that animal removal traps offer. The Shawnee Agency of Fish & Game didn't take some sort of position on the bill during the Legislature, Exterminator Brian declared. Undoing the statute, the exterminator declared, also would require legislative action. Wildlife Professional Francis, president of the chapter of the Oklahoma Striped Skunk Pest control companies Association, introduced the bill at the urging of pest control companies in the Shawnee area, which falls in the senator's legislative district.
