South Carolina is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Orangeburg wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Orangeburg animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Orangeburg Wildlife Tip:
What Is A Squirrel's Mating Habits, When Do They Give Birth, And How Does It Raise Its Young?
Mostly these little animals give birth during the spring season. Mostly for the gray squirrels the mating season is from June to August and from December to February, twice in a year. So the little squirrels you see during that time already have the young ones.
The habit of mating for other tree squirrel and gray squirrel is romantic one. They definitely never mate with the male squirrel for life. The squirrel or the female squirrel becomes receptive; they attract the male with their scent. The male squirrel can smell it from more than 500 meters away and then all the males compete with each other and the one who wins gets a chance to mate with the female. Other males who were competing will get a chance but only after the dominant male has finished. Once the process is finished they move away and has nothing to do with the young or the male.
For the flying squirrels that are found in the eastern parts of the United States the mating takes place twice a year and mostly in late summers and spring. The mother squirrels give birth to two or four young ones after the gestation period of 40 days is over. For the red squirrels the mating takes place too quickly as each breeding season the female are fertile one day each. The male red squirrel will keep chasing and copulating with the female till he ensures that the breeding has taken place and the gestation period for the red squirrels last for 35 days. They have two young ones per year or sometimes four.
The gestation period last for maybe 45 days for the gray squirrels and a little shorter period for the tree squirrels. The squirrels give birth in hollow tree or in a tree. They usually prefer giving birth in the nest that is in the hollow of the tree. They give birth to two or four babies usually but it may also be eight in numbers sometimes. The young ones weighs approximately one ounce and is about an inch long. The young ones of the squirrels are born deaf and blind have nothing in the body except whiskers. The mother squirrel takes care of the young till they are fully grown and independent. When they are ten to twelve week old the weaving takes place. After the young ones are grown and can live by their own they still live with their mother for few more weeks so that they can learn the skills they would require when they leave the nest and their mother.
