Texas is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional The Colony wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some The Colony animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

The Colony Wildlife Tip:
How to get mice out of the attic

Mice are one of those kind of creatures that can turn your house into a nightmare. They wait till the wee hours of the night to come out and start rummaging around your home trying to get into your food, damaging your furniture, and causing other kinds of messes around your house. There is also the concern that mice reproduce so quickly that you can have a serious issue with dozens if not hundreds of mice living in your home in a very short period of time.

What becomes an especially troublesome spot is when the mice have figured out a way to build a huge nest in your attic area. Because most people don't spend very much time in their attic, this creates the perfect refuge for a mouse to start its family there. They go into this spot, virtually undetected, and can spend weeks or even months before anyone even notices that there is even mice in the house. By that point their numbers can be huge making an incredibly difficult to get them out of your house.

You clearly want the rodents out of your attic area but you understand that you have to do it in such a way so that you don't disperse them over the rest of your home. It makes no sense for you to exclude them from your attic in some way, only to find them scurrying about your basement, making their way through the walls in your house, and basically becoming an even bigger issue for you then you had before. So, what do you do to get rid of mice out of the attic?

The first thing you need to do is to look for areas where the mice are able to get into your attic area. This includes gaps or holes that you may find. If you find areas like this, you want to seal them using steel wool mixed within the sealant so that it is difficult for the animals to chew their way back into these areas. You need to do an extremely thorough job or else they are going to figure out how to get right back into your attic. This means you need to do as the role of research as one can.

After you have completely sealed every spot that allows them to gain access it is time to now trap these animals. Understand that mice are pretty fearless, and will continually roam around your attic area looking for food. This is your opportunity. Get yourself a repeating trap which allows mice to get into the trap but not get out. This trap can capture several dozen mice at a time, meaning that it was you can simply let it do the job for you.

After each night check the trap and dispose of these mice outside or wherever you intend to get rid of them. Then reset up the trap for the next night and tell you have had three or four nights where no mice are captured.
