Washington is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Bremerton wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Bremerton animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Bremerton Wildlife Tip:
Rodents Are Scratching In loft But Not Eating Poison - If you have rodents in your attic, you may be tempted to try and poison them so that they cease to be a problem. However, ironically, if you poison them they are more likely to be a longer term problem as you cannot control where they die, if they die at all. There is no poison on the market that is suitable for killing rodents - the closest thing you can get is rat poison and it is not guaranteed to work. Poisoning rodents is often illegal, which is why there is nothing on the market suitable for them. This method of killing them is seen as cruel and inhumane as it cannot guarantee that the rodent will not suffer. In fact, it is more than likely that the rodent will suffer as poison takes anything from hours to days to take effect during which time the animal could be in substantial pain.
So if you hear scratching noises in the attic, you need to investigate the matter before you just put poison down. If it is rats or mice then poison will work to kill them but again you cannot control where they are going to die, so their corpses could create a long-term odor problem. The best thing to do if poison is not being eaten and the scratching noises are continuing is to put traps down with food to entice the pests into the traps. You can then dispose of them as necessary.
