Arizona is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Apache Junction wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Apache Junction animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local

pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Maricopa County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that

Apache Junction Wildlife Tip:
DO POSSUMS ATTACK CATS, DOGS OR OTHER PETS?
Although possums may look like rats, they are not rodent. They are marsupials and have very different habits to rodents. They are vital to the ecosystem are generally harmless and gentle invaders. They are travelers by nature and have 4 or 5 different dens in a specific range, which they visit every 2 or three days. This means that they have set paths with they visit constantly, but never stay in the same place for long.
Possums, or opossums, can grow to be the size of a house cat, and have incredible immune systems that make them very unlikely to carry diseases like rabies. Nevertheless, they are wild animals and should be left alone. Possums are not vermin; thus, they should be treated with respect and care. They are omnivorous, meaning they eat practically anything, and are actually quite beneficial to have around your garden, as they will eat all the unwanted pests that may be lurking around. Snails, cockroaches, mice and rats all make up part of a possum's diet.
They carry their babies in their pouches or on their backs, meaning that, though they are generally quite timid and gentle, they can become quite vicious if it feels that its babies are in danger. This applies to cats and dogs as well, mainly to dogs. Although not clear why, possums and cats seem to have a mutual respect for each other and try to keep out of each other's way as much as possible.
Dogs, on the other hand, being the territorial, curious and mainly playful creatures that they are, will at the very least bark at possums through the window if they see them in the garden. If at all possible, do not let your dog near the possum. If you have a big, territorial dog, chances are it will chase and kill the possum, as this little marsupial is carrying its whole family on its back, it won't be able to make a quick getaway and an entire family of possums can be wiped out by a single dog. If you have a small, (but equally territorial, because who are we kidding, the little ones are feisty) dog, then it may suffer from a retaliatory attack from the possum as it will feel threatened and think that its babies are in danger.
Possums have very sharp teeth that come in handy for hunting small rodents, frogs, insects and snails, and they can cause severe damage to a small or medium sized dog. But an attack from a possum is very rare and product of very extreme threats, because possums have a very useful and famous weapon in their arsenal called "playing possum" which means that they will involuntarily play dead when feeling threatened. This usually dissuades predators from attacking further as many to not eat already dead animals, and a possum who is "playing possum" gives of a very foul smell, helping to shield it from nosy noses.
