California is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Anaheim wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. In fact Anaheim wildlife frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

County Animal ServicesDOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local Orange County Animal Services for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses, pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Orange County animal services, and see what they have to say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. Anaheim Wildlife Tip:
What To Do When Removing Dead Squirrels - If you have successfully trapped your squirrel infestation and relocated them, you may well discover, during the cleaning up process, some dead squirrels. If so, you should take steps to protect yourself by wearing gloves, a mask and apron. While in the attic, or other area of infestation, it is also wise to wear temporary shoe coverings in order to avoid walking the urine and faecal matter around your property. If you should find a squirrel carcass, you should wrap it in plastic or old cloth and dispose of it carefully - the best method is probably by putting it on your garden bonfire or in the furnace. While dead squirrels are not known to pose a threat to humans, it is always sensible to take precautions where the cause of death is unknown.

If your approach to dealing with your squirrel problem has been to trap and kill rather than relocate, then the removal of the carcasses will be much the same. However where the cause of death is known, the squirrels can be considered as a food source for you and your other animals. You can of course choose to bury your dead squirrels - but this may be time consuming if you have many and if you have dogs, they may well dig the corpses up. If you are unable to burn the carcass, then you must simply bag and trash.

Saving pennies to save Anaheim dogs
Girl, 10, helps protect police canines.

Missy Mulotta, 10, of Garden Grove, will give away her 20th bulletproof vest to a police dog today. Kids. What do they know? They think pennies are worth something. That's why Missy Mulotta, now 10, started picking them up off the sidewalk three years ago. She asked her mom why people left them there and was told: "Because you can't buy anything with them." "She got this devilish look on her face," recalls her mom, Denine Mulotta, 41, of Garden Grove, "and said, 'But if you save them, you can buy all sorts of things!'"

Now she's called the Penny Princess. And all those worthless pennies she saved have bought bulletproof vests for police dogs in 12 agencies throughout California. She's so petite she's almost a penny of a person - just under 60 pounds and just over 4 feet tall. Yet she holds a commanding presence over the county's 55 police-dog teams, many of whom rely on her to buy the pricey Kevlar vests.

"She's a little girl making a huge amount of difference," says Orange County sheriff's deputy Todd Schmaltz, president of the Orange County Police Canine Association. "To her, she's helping a police dog, but to us, she's helping our partner, our friend - part of our family. I mean, it's pretty awesome work, and we appreciate it." Orange County animal services in Anaheim, California, declined to comment on the matter.

Today Missy will hand out her 20th bulletproof vest - to Cypress police officer Brian Danskin for his Czech shepherd Zorro. Why? "They need 'em so when like there's a guy hiding somewhere and he tries to shoot up the cops and it hits the dog, the dog won't get hurt," Missy says. "The vest will save the dog's life." Orange County animal control says it will continue to help with domestic animal issues, but not with California wildlife problems.

Canine Handler Arrested After Finding 300 Birdlike animals In Filthy Conditions

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- A Canine Handler who says he has devoted himself to rescuing Birdlike animals was arrested after animal control officers raided his house and allegedly discovered at least 300 caged birds, dead and alive, in filthy conditions, it was reported Thursday. Orange County animal services in Irvine, California, declined to comment on the matter. About 120 dead Birdlike animals filled bags and boxes alongside the dude's house the newspaper reported. Some others found alive in pet carriers were immediately euthanized in Anaheim because they were sick or malnourished, Patrick Possum, administrator in charge of Anaheim's animal control department, told the newspaper. Orange County animal control says it will continue to help with domestic animal issues, but not with California wildlife problems.

Some birds were taken to a veterinarian's office in Fullerton, where they also were likely to be put to sleep to prevent illness, Possum told the Breeze. For more information, call the animal services of Anaheim, California.
