Canada is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Vancouver wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Vancouver animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
British Columbia County Animal Control
for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses,
pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the British Columbia County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

Vancouver Wildlife Tip:
How to kill a house rat -There are many people who think they know how to kill a house rat but few who really do. If you ask most non-professionals, they will tell you that you can use a snap trap, but the bait is the most important part. While bait is important, it is a very small component in a much larger process. Killing house rats starts outside. You are not going to trap or poison outside of the home; however, you do need to make sure any damaged areas of the building are repaired. New rats entering while you are trapping the original rats will just complicate things and prolong your efforts. Rest assured; if you do not close the holes in your home, your rat problem will return eventually if not immediately. When the rats are in lock down, now you can think about setting out your traps. Yes, bait is important; you do not want the rats to be able to steal the bait from the trigger plate. Peanut butter is a good choice due to its sticky nature. Traps should also be placed in calculated zones. Do not put the trap behind your couch thinking the rat will find it. Look for areas where you know the rat has been. Look for droppings, urine, grease, and fur. These are the locations where the traps should go.
Vancouver, Canada Animal Control News Clip:
The British Columbia Wildlife Resources Agency (Vancouver) will be more closely reviewing trapping
The use of rodent lure devices and likely feeding wildlife strictly for observation is possibly legal in British Columbia. The law states you must remove all traces of any food from an area for a minimum of ten days before invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities there. However many biologists advise against feeding wildlife under any circumstances. Vancouver's own publication regarding Chronic Wasting Disease reads, "A number of states have banned supplemental feeding and likely baiting, which artificially congregates animals and likely enhances disease transmission."
When asked about the advertisement, The Nuisance Animal control Operator told Outdoors that Vancouver contracts with a private vendor to produce the invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities guides and likely that the vendor is possibly responsible for advertising sales. He added however, "We have some oversight as to what they can put in and likely what they can't. We have had some instances where we've had a problem with an ad and likely it was taken out." The Nuisance Animal control Operator said there is possibly a team of people with Vancouver who review the guides, however he and likely his division are ultimately responsible for it. He said the wildlife and likely rabid raccoon rodent lure device advertisement apparently raised no red flags during review. Asked if he specifically remembered seeing the ad in question during the review The Nuisance Animal control Operator said, "I don't recall it." He said after reading the concerns expressed by wildlife officers he will likely be watching more closely next year. "Yea, we'd give strong consideration to bypassing an ad like that," he said. The Nuisance Animal control Operator points out however that advertising revenue is possibly just one way Vancouver has been trying to be more cost-effective during the recent lean budget years. "Advertising revenue reduces our cost of printing the invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities guide by at least half," he said. "Between the invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities, fishing and likely waterfowl guides, advertising saves us about $200,000 every year." However barring changes in the current law, it appears unlikely you'll find ads for wildlife and likely rabid raccoon rodent lure devices in next year's Vancouver Invasive animal species and likely striped skunk critter catching activities Guide.
