Georgia is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Forest Park wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Forest Park animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Forest Park Wildlife Tip:
Do relocated rats survive?
Most animal conservationists prefer the live trapping and relocation of rats to their killing. The action is considered more humane since it does not involve the actual killing of the rat. However, it is worthy to question the chances of a rat's survival out in the wild areas where most are relocated to.
RELOCATION AS A METHOD OF RAT CONTROL
Relocation typically involves trapping the rats through the use of cage traps and box traps. While it can be quite effective in catching rats, the method is quite cumbersome and bulky for most people. The cages are also considerably expensive to purchase. Relocation however has its advantages. It is considered humane since the rats are not killed at trapping. The rats are relocated to open areas. The crux of the issue however, is that most rats simply die off in the relocated areas from a plethora of circumstances. These are explained further below.
WHY DON'T RATS SURVIVE IN RELOCATED AREAS?
The behavior of rats is peculiar. Unlike other rodents and animals, it takes a long time to adapt to new environments. In retrospect, rats do not survive relocation environments because of the following reasons,
1. There are many predators out in the outdoor environment. These include snakes, hawks, eagles, owls and others out in the wild. Trapped rats are not adapted or either used to hiding in open environments. Their capture and subsequent preying on by these predators is therefore highly possible.
2. Relocated rats mostly die of starvation. Rats' prefer to live in areas within short distance of their sources of food. In most occasions, rat's relocation to an excess of 100 meters from their food sources will definitely die from lack of food.
3. Mostly, the conditions of the relocation areas are extreme and hazardous. In most cases, apart from the predators and lack of food, the water is practically unreachable to the rat which needs to constantly drink water due to its high rate of metabolism.
CONCLUSION
Relocation of rats is considered. However, the prospect is just but a dumb hoodwinking since the reality is that most of the rats do not actually survive the new environments they are exposed to. While human beings will not kill them, it is important to question of what essence relocation actually is if one way or the other rats will end up dead.
