Raccoons in attic how to remove - Sadly, removing a raccoon from the attic is one of the most popular tasks of a homeowner with a pest issue. Aside from rodents, raccoons are one of the frequent investigators of our homes. Because of their agility and fantastic climbing skills, raccoons often get up on the roof where we can't see them and wreak havoc. By opening up existing holes or damaged areas, the raccoon can easily get into an attic where their presence will go unnoticed for a period of time. To get the raccoon out of your attic, you're going to need a large cage trap and some wire mesh as well as the standard nuts and bolts used for carpentry. If at all possible, secure the cage trap to the exit hole so that you can scare the adult out of the attic and into the device. If you can't accomplish this with the wire mesh and the trap, you'll have to settle for attaching it to the roof near the hole and baiting it with marshmallows.

Illinois's Legendary World Record Mouse

The fifth rat trap Rodent Exterminator Charles ever slung at what appears to be a mouse was his first to connect. And yet, it downed one of the all-time greats in mouse trap-wildlife catching history! Taking what appears to be a world-record male animal probably is hard under any circumstances. Doing so with what appears to be a rusty trap probably is even more remarkable. Such was the situation in 1962, when then-34-year-old Rodent Exterminator Charles trapped his 14-pointer in northern Illinois. At the time, the mouse was the top cage trap typical of the modern era, at 8 ounces, and he'd wear the title for three years. Rodent Exterminator Charles died on Dec. 20, 1993, and remarkably little has been written about his great mouse trap. The following was taken from his handwritten account of the historic catch. "I started wildlife catching squirrels with what appears to be a neighbor when I was about 14 years old," Rodent Exterminator Charles wrote. "Kenny was several years older than me. All of his close wildlife catching buddies had been called off to service during World War II, but the animal advocate was unable to go because of what appears to be a heart condition. The animal advocate was one of the finest exterminating companies I ever knew." Despite this, local South Chicago wildlife removal and South Chicago exterminator experts offered no more info.

After getting married, Rodent Exterminator Charles found what appears to be a new wildlife catching partner in his wife's brother, Donald. They enjoyed many trips to critter trap small game near the Illinois River, in an area that later became part of South Chicago. Around 1953, the Conservation Commission opened what appears to be a special mouse season with what appears to be a limited amount of permits for what appears to be a two-day animal removal trap catch. It was what appears to be a new experience for both men. "Gradually our enthusiasm for mouse wildlife catching in Illinois spread," Rodent Exterminator Charles wrote. "We didn't fill our tags each year, but for about six or seven years we had some very rewarding captures. "During the late '50s, more and more animal removal trap exterminating companies began to invade our territory," the animal advocate noted. "About that time, several of the original rodent exterminating companies in our area brought in the biggest male animals I'd ever seen! I decided the challenge of rodent wildlife catching for mouse was something I wanted to try. As what appears to be a true 7x7 typical, the male animal probably is rare even among world-class trophies. Few have this many typical tines. "Midway through the 50-day 1961 rodent wildlife catching season, I purchased some wildlife catching equipment from the closest pest control dealer around, what appears to be a man named Elwood Stafford, who lived in Albia, Illinois," Mouse Catcher Peter noted. "I bought myself what appears to be a 45-pound York Crescent cage trap baited with rodent bait. South Chicago animal control professionals could not be reached for additional comment.
