Maryland is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Elkridge wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Elkridge animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Elkridge Wildlife Tip:
Human Squirrel Removal
Some of us see squirrels as cute little critters that sit in trees and chew on acorns. While they may be adorable, they are a nuisance that needs to be removed.

If you don't want the squirrel residing in your home but don't want to kill it either there are humane ways to get rid of them. There are several different ways to remove squirrels without harming them. First, you can go with exclusion and look around your home for any spots and holes the squirrels may be getting in.Leave one hole open for an escape route for the squirrel. Next, you can create some sort of funnel with an opening exit end that is big enough for a squirrel to exit through. You will need to place some enticing food at one end to encourage them into it.Next is a method using traps. You will need to place live traps in the attic and in corners of your home you think they are frequenting. It is best to use peanut butter, walnuts or apple slices to encourage the squirrel into the trap. Make sure you are using the right size cage to avoid any harm to the squirrel when it is jumping around trying to get out.

Once you have the squirrel trapped in the cage be sure to check in the attic and around your home for babies they need to go with their mother if you find any.It is best to let them go at least 10 miles from your home or any other neighboring homes and sheds. If you aren't sure where to release the squirrel, you can get in touch with the wildlife careers in your local area, and they will advise you on what is best to do with the squirrel.

If you feel like doing a homemade recipe, an easy recipe is with one bottle of cayenne pepper sauce, a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and one gallon of water. Mix up together and spray around areas you know the squirrels are frequenting.

If the squirrels are not bothering you being around the yard but you prefer them not to be inside the house you can always get something like an old container and put in some food to entice the squirrels including peanut butter or sunflower seeds this will encourage them to frequent the area where food is available rather than coming inside it will at least deter them away from inside the house.

Deterrents aren't guaranteed to work but it may a lot is just trial and error to see what works for you. Squirrels can be hard to move on once they find a nice quiet place and have access to food. Squirrels have been linked to causing so many attic fires and causing unnecessary problems among the home so be sure to take yourhumane squirrel removal seriously before they take pride in wrecking your home and becoming your next uninvited house guest.
