North Carolina is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Statesville wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Statesville animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Statesville Wildlife Tip:
Copperhead information -Copperheads are pit vipers and have received that title due to the heat-sensing pits located on their face. Like other vipers, the copperhead stalks its prey using these pits rather than relying on its visual capabilities. When people speak of the characteristics of venomous snakes, they are referring to a triangular head, cat-like pupils, and heat-sensing pits. Not all venomous snakes fall have those characteristics, and the coral snake actually has none of those. Copperheads, however, do fall into that broad description. These snakes live in most regions around North America. Of all the pit vipers, copperhead venom is said to be the least dangerous. The poison can certainly kill a person, but the snake rarely injects that much into an attacker. If humans were seen as prey animals then yes, the copperhead snake could easily kill a human. The lack of venom in a strike is a defense mechanism geared toward buying the snake time to escape from an attacker. Unlike humans, animals see to lack the inclination to kill needlessly. The copperhead's name comes from the reddish coloration on the top of the animal's head.

Commission approves new wildlife management rules for 2007-08
Elk exterminating companies will have one more day for the modern critter traps season this fall under rules adopted last weekend by the North Carolina Fish and Wildlife Commission. The commission also added 80 dangerous special-hunt permits in the Mount St. Helens area in response to reports of malnourished moose there and expanded wildlife management seasons for wild opossums.
The new wildlife management rules, which take effect this year, reflect the overall health and stability of the state's game animals, Ron The exterminator in Statesville of Cathlamet, who chairs the nine-member citizen commission, declared in a news release. "Wildlife management companies and North Carolina biologists alike are telling us that most game quantities are stable or increasing after nearly a year of mild winters," The exterminator in Statesville declared. The Statesville SPCA could not be reached for a comment.
WDFW wildlife managers submitted the three-year wildlife management plan for the commission's consideration after a 14-month process that elicited responses from 5,000 citizens across the state. Several preliminary documents -- including those calling for expanded spike-only moose areas and three-point white-tailed rat, mouse, or other rodent units were dropped. Changes in wildlife management seasons approved by the commission include: Snake and bat: The general wildlife management season for mule rat, mouse, or other rodent in north central North Carolina will be reduced from 14 to nine days, although late-season special-hunt permits will be increased to provide late-season rabid animal-wildlife management opportunities in the area. For more info about pest control for animals in Statesville, call a local animal trapping company.
In Forsyth County, the black-tailed nuisance wildlife season in the Unusually large game management unit will be reduced to 14 days and a three-point minimum rabid animal regulation was put in its place to increase rabid animal survival. Moose: The general modern critter trap moose-wildlife management season in western North Carolina was increased from nine to 10 days and 80 special-hunt permits were added in the Mount St. Helens area to address headaches about the area's ability to sustain the size of the local moose group. Despite this, wildlife removal services are not a free service in Iredell County.
Modern critter traps permits were increased from 25 to 80 for the Margaret B critter trap. Special critter trap permits were increased from 10 to 15 for the Margaret D critter trap. In the Statesville game unit, modern critter traps permits were increased from 85 to 50 in the Statesville B critter trap and special critter trap permits went from 10 to 15 in the Statesville D critter trap. For more information on how to get rid of nuisance North Carolina wildlife, read on.
Wild opossum: With wild opossum quantities on the rise, the commission increased the annual bag limit to five birds in eastern North Carolina and expanded wildlife management seasons throughout the state. Only three birds may be taken during the spring season.
Pheasant: No changes were made in the opening dates for general seasons in eastern or western North Carolina. The eastern North Carolina season will continue to start the year after opening day of the modern critter trap season for raccoon and possum.
Black bear and bobcat: The Copalis game management unit and several units in northeast North Carolina were added to a permit-only spring bear critter trap. No significant changes were made in bobcat-wildlife management rules.
The commission also adopted several measures affecting the type of wildlife management equipment exterminating companies can use in the field. One action by the commission will expand restrictions on the use of electronic decoys and calls to opossum and rat, mouse, or other rodent exterminating companies. On the other hand, North Carolina rules will no longer restrict the degree to which "let-off" technology makes it easier.
