Texas is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Dallas wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. In fact Dallas wildlife frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Dallas Wildlife Tip:
Snake repellent that works -If you searching for snake repellent that works it's probably because you've tried repellents before with no success or you've heard that most of the items on the market are a joke. Either way, there is not much more than can be done for you. There are snake repellents that have some worth, though even those substances are hit and miss. Snake removal experts have access to two repellents that seem to work on snakes: kingsnake musk and mongoose urine. If you have to hire a professional to apply these repellents, you might as well pay them to remove the snakes entirely. Homeowners tend to look for a remedy in a bottle when all they need to look for is a way to improve their existing snake defenses. You may not realize it but snake prevention begins in your yard, and there may be things you are doing to draw snakes in rather than repel them. First, tall grass in a yard looks lovely and keeps a nice color through drought, but grass that is too lengthy will draw in snakes and other pest animals. Think about all the benefits of long grass for a snake: cover, shade, breeding insects. Yes, long grass is going to be your worst enemy when it comes to snakes. Other thick vegetation needs to go as well. Have an old, broken-down shed? That needs to be repaired or demolished. Leaving debris in the yard is just like asking nature to send nuisance animals your way.
Dallas, TX Animal Control News Clip:
So we have a serious rat problem and don't have a lot of money to spend on the pros, although we are considering it. The rats appear gray but some are dark gray with maybe some black. We have been dealing with this problem for almost two months now. We do have dogs so I am afraid to use any poison. We have had good luck with the snap traps. We have had roofers look over roof but found no evidence or entry. We have been all around house on outside looking, securing any holes we could find. Still have rats. Over last two months I have killed probably at least seven. We are guilty of leaving a large water container on back porch for our dogs. We are planning on removing it today and looking for any other water supplies. What about under the A/C in attic (condensate)? We have rats in attic, walls, garage and now even in the A/C duct that runs between the floors. Tail was hanging out of register. Refer to pic I attached. So er probably have a hole in our duct now. How to deal with that? What are we doing wrong? We are not dirty people. I bought one of those electronic traps to kill them also. Do any commercial ones poison AND contain them (Combo)? Afraid of our pets eating a poisoned rat. We never keep food outside or anywhere out. Ideas please? We live in Wylie,TX, located near Dallas. It is 100 degrees here now, why would they want to live in the hot attic? I thought this was more of a Winter problem. Also....can rats crawl up drywall wall and then upside down on the drywall ceiling? Thanks in advance, Stephen
Pest Control - Rat and mouse move little, despite heavy exterminating
In her findings through June, she found that females moved in an average area of one-third of a square mile area and bucks moved in an average three-quarters of a square mile area. Most local owners of pest control companies in Dallas, Texas weren't sure what to make of all this.
Young bucks, those about a year old, and most prone to movement, traveled an average of five to seven miles. Many rat and mouse biologists had thought the young bucks would have moved even farther. Not all in group get infected: So far, five of the 78 dead rat and mouse have tested positive for the disease. One was a male rodent and four were females. Dallas pest control is mostly insect extermination, but only a few Texas companies deal with wild animals.
The four females lived in three social groups. In two of the social groups, no other rat and mouse became infected with the disease. That surprised The insect and rodent professional. "We fully predicted that once we had one positive female in the social group, we would see rapid transmission," The insect and rodent professional said. "We have not found that yet." The insect and rodent professional said her research captures rat and mouse movement in the zone in Dane and Iowa counties, where factors such as topography, food sources and potential mates dictate how rat and mouse move. The insect and rodent professional said the results might be different in southeastern Wisconsin, which has also been hit by the disease. Here, with cropland and forests more fragmented, rat and mouse might be forced to travel longer distances to "make a living," he said. How the disease showed up in Walworth County and in one location in Kenosha County, for example, is unclear. "This is something we still don't know," The insect and rodent professional said. The Dallas County Pest Control board of Dallas exterminators could not be reached for comment.
