Texas is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional League City wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some League City animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
Galveston County Animal Control

pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Galveston County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

League City Wildlife Tip:
Do Raccoons Attack People?
Raccoons are one of the most common pests known for infiltrating people's homes, and their presence can often be somewhat startling, if not downright scary. These pesky, sneaky little bandits can wreak quite a great deal of havoc in their wake, from disrupting garbage cans to ripping through cable wires. They are certainly bad news, no matter how you look at it. But, are raccoons actually dangerous? What type of threat do they pose to human safety? Everyone knows that they're up to no good, but does that automatically make them bad? Bottom line being, do raccoons ever attack people?
Raccoon Attacks: How Likely Are They?
At the end of the day, raccoons are wild animals. There is no raccoon variant that has been domesticated, and even domesticated raccoons are occasionally violent. They are aggressive and conniving, and they are known for their unfriendly behavior in a multitude of conditions. Even baby raccoons become ferocious when they feel threatened, and without having an intimate understanding of raccoons, you have no way of knowing what will cause a raccoon to react negatively. With that in mind, it is important to note that raccoons will never go out of their way to attack a human unless they have rabies. Raccoons hiss, scream, and assault people in a defensive act, not offensive. If you interfere with their food source or physically threaten them, you might be in for a nasty surprise. Most of the time, however, raccoons will simply ignore their human cohabitants.
Raccoons With Rabies: The Real Threat
Rabies is a terrifying condition, and it is definitively fatal. It is fatal for both the raccoon and the exposed human, unless the human gets to a hospital within 24 hours. Raccoons with rabies act differently than their non-rabid counterparts, with much more aggressive and ludicrous behavior. They tend to sway a lot, and they lurch despite not necessarily feeling threatened. Raccoons with rabies will definitively, absolutely try to attack humans, regardless of previously displayed kindness or consistency, and they do not respond well to any sort of interaction whatsoever. If your pet is exposed to rabies through a raccoon, your pet will die. If you're exposed to rabies through a raccoon, you will die without immediate medical attention. Raccoon attacks are not serious situations otherwise, but if you suspect a raccoon has attacked because it has rabies, then you need to do something immediately.
