Virginia is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Petersburg wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Petersburg animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local

pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Dinwiddie County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that

Petersburg Wildlife Tip:
An analysis of inhumane glue traps for mice
Because mice are rarely a welcome guest at people's homes, there have been a series of devices that a been created over the centuries that had been intended to allow people to capture, injure, and even terminate the life of a mouse. We are all quite familiar with the standard snap trap. This is a trap where a piece of bait is placed on the activating mechanism. And that bait is removed, it releases the bar on the trap, slamming down onto the mouse with the intention of terminating it. This has been a highly effective tool that is been used by people to kill mice for generations.
A new kind of trap that is gaining traction with many people, no pun intended, is the use of the glue trap. If you are unfamiliar with this kind trap, it is a piece of paper that is simply attached to the floor using a strip mechanism or nails so that the paper does not become jarred loose. On the surface that is not attached to the floor, there is a rather strong adhesive glue that traps the mouse whenever it steps on it. The rodent becomes attached to the paper, it cannot free itself and cannot dislodge the paper from the floor, so it is basically stuck there. After a short period of time, the animal dies either from starvation or lack of water and your problem is resolved.
Best of all, this is the kind of trap that can actually lure several different mice to it. When one mouse is trapped on the paper, it will not only attract others who will believe that the location may have food available, but if the original mouse dies on there other mice may see that mouse as a potential food source, getting dropped on the paper as well. It's an ingenious plan that offers a great deal of success to it.
The question is if this is a humane means to terminate a mouse's life. While the snap trap is not humane in many ways, as terminating the life of any animal isn't necessarily seen as humane, the reality is that it at least works quickly in handling your mouse problem. Very rarely does a mouse survive the force of a bar collapsing down on his head or abdomen area.
However, this is not true of the glue trap at all. This trap is intended to hang onto the mouse until it eventually dies or you come along and kill the animal using some other means. The animal is stuck there, terrified by the fact that it cannot get away, and there have been many instances where a mouse will begin to chew at its own paw in an attempt to get away.
This is a rather gruesome ending to the rodent's life and is why more people are starting to become disillusioned by the trap, seeing it as a completely inhumane and unnecessary means to handle this problem. It may work well for capturing ants or cockroaches, but many don't like it as a termination technique for mice.
