Wisconsin is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Mequon wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Mequon animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Mequon Wildlife Tip:
Raccoon removal techniques - Getting rid of a raccoon doesn't mean taking a shot gun and staking out the roof of your home. While this will get rid of the raccoon, it will scare your neighbors and still leave behind any babies that are hidden in the building. Because you care about your neighbors and don't want them calling the police, consider removing the raccoon with a tried-and-true cage trap. This can be an easy process if you're diligent and prepared for possible issues. The first method to try is to attach the cage trap to the hole in your building where the raccoon enters and exits. You can then go inside and scare her out. If you've secured the trap well enough, she will leap out of the hole and right into the cage. Now, with the adult taken care of, you need to search the premises for babies. Most raccoon inside of a home are females with young. You should always try to find the kits if they are left behind. Once good way to find them is to wait until dusk and listen for their distinctive hunger cries. Kits can often be removed by hand-just wear gloves. Even though they are small, baby raccoon can transfer rabies as easily as adults.

It'll be easier to animal capture squirrel

Wildlife and Parks looks to public to help streamline regulations.
If you're one of many who think Mequon squirrel-wildlife trapping regulations are too complicated and confusing, take heart. Your world is about to become a whole lot simpler. That's the goal of a task force established by the Mequon Agency of Wildlife and Parks, anyway. That 10-member group has spent much of the last year studying ways to streamline, simplify and improve the rules of the game when it comes to squirrel wildlife trapping. Now it is ready to hear from the public. The task force will put its recommendations to the test, getting feedback from wild animal control companies in Mequon of public organized hearings across the state in July. After that, the panel will take those opinions into consideration and draft final suggestions for regulations changes that will be brought to the Mequon Wildlife and Parks Wildlife regulatory agency. That action then would be brought to the 2007 session of the Mequon Legislature, and it would probably be until the fall 2009 until wild animal control companies see changes. But Mike The critter capture officer, critter gitter of the task force, points out that action taken this year will go a long way toward determining the future of Mequon squirrel wildlife trapping. "When we started our squirrel-wildlife trapping program in 1976, we had the equivalent of a little one-room house," The critter capture officer declared. "But as we grew, we kept adding on rooms and pretty soon we had a maze. "Our regulations became so complicated that even our staff members had a hard time comprehending them." Perhaps the most controversial suggestion is one that would call for Wildlife and Parks to make available unlimited native either-sex critter traps permits in eastern Mequon - for residents and nonresidents alike. In the past, nonresidents were limited by a quota system. And transferable permits, in which outfitters provided squirrel permits for nonresident clients, turned commercial operations into big dollars. But much of that would be eliminated if the suggestion is accepted and nonresident permits were more readily available. The task force thinks the move could simplify the permit process without adding significantly more wild animal control companies or having an impact on the resource. Other suggestions include: The amount of squirrel-management units for native either-sex permits would be reduced from 19 to two - a west unit and an east unit. A native either-sex, any-season permit would be established. That would allow the permit-holder to animal capture in either the east or the west unit during any season (critter traps, bow, etc.), provided he or she has the legal equipment. An either-sex nuisance wildlife control permit would be established. An unlimited amount of these permits would be available to residents and up to 26 percent of what were sold to residents the previous year would be available to nonresidents.
