A 5-week-old Evening Bat wants its mom
Ask most individuals what they think of when we say the word “bat” and they will most likely cringe away from any type of bat. Bats are creatures that many of us associate with dark and disturbing things, because they look so much the part. Bats hang out in our homes, in our attic spaces, in barns, where horses can be spooked by them and in stables as well as other structures, such as sheds. Anywhere there is less light, the typical bat will go there. Some homeowners have even found a sleeping bat hanging inside their patio umbrella when they unwind it.
There are many different types and species of bats. Many bats are somewhat large, although some varieties are much, much smaller. The evening bat is one of these smaller types. The adult evening bat can get as big as 14 grams, which is still very small, so there offspring will be smaller yet. A baby evening bat does not have the ability to fly until it is three weeks old, so this little guy pictured above has been flying now for 2 weeks.
Bats, like this little evening bat fly out at night, higher in the night sky when dusk is appearing and much lower to look for insects to eat once complete darkness has fallen. These bats, like other species will come to live in your structures, if there are dark areas to inhabit. Our company has a 100 percent success rate at removal of any type of bat, without harming the bat or your property. Take some time to get an estimate from us, so that we are able to complete the removal process for you and your family. Do not share your home with any unwanted bat guests; they are not fun to have hanging around.
Bats are great animals! Unfortunately, the do often choose to roost inside home and buildings, where they can create a big mess. It's a good idea to remove the bats from your belfry or attic, but it's also a great idea to avoid
harming them! Any competent wildlife control expert should have the knowledge and expertise to safely and effectively remove an entire colony of bats from a house without harming or killing a single one. I know that I have a 100%
success rate with bat removal jobs, and I believe the list of companies that I've compiled in my directory is of similar quality. If you want to learn more, please read my How To Get Rid of Bats page.
AAAnimal Control is a privately owned wildlife removal and pest control business, located in Orlando Florida. I deal strictly with wild animals including bats inside houses. I am not an extermination company, but a critter removal
and control specialist. The above photos are some of the many that I've taken in the field over my years of work. Please email me if
you have any questions about the above photographs, or any questions about
wildlife problems or bat removal issues.
