I commonly extract dead animal carcasses from homes and property. The very animals that commonly invade houses die inside houses, and when they do, they create a very unpleasant odor as the carcass decays.
The successful removal of deceased wildlife definitely requires experience and knowledge of building architecture and animal behavior. I've cut and pried open every nook and cranny imaginable to locate and remove

There is a Dead Pit Bull under the Building! - What happens when you feed a dog with antifreeze? It dies. Much like how my annoyance meter reaches its peak when I find someone fed poison to a rodent inside the house, this case was no different. And then they complain of the horrible odor!
This story begins with a call I got from dental lab, complaining of stench in their building and not being able to locate from where and why it was coming. When I reached the building, I asked the guy in charge a few questions about the smell such as when he first noticed it and which part smelled the strongest. While he pointed out the area he thought smelled the worst, I got ready with my Tyvek suit, headlamp and animal disposal equipment. And before I could ask anything else, he got into his car and fled the building as if I was accusing him of a crime. Soon enough, I got it out of his assistant that the dog was given antifreeze as it was considered to be a threat to people in the area.
Anyways, I started my search outside the office, which was basically made inside a house. This was an easy job when it comes to finding the animal because almost immediately I found the dead dog under the house. That was the easy part. The toughest part was removing it from under the house with its heavy weight and it took a good amount of time and effort.
Once I pulled the carcass out from under the house, I did what the building’s in-charge should have done i.e. calling the Orange County Animal Control for proper disposal of the dead dog. If the in-charge would have done that before acting too smart and killing the dog with antifreeze, this situation would not have happened in the first place.
