Arkansas is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Fayetteville wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Fayetteville animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local

pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Washington County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

Fayetteville Wildlife Tip:
What Do Exterminators Use To Kill Squirrels In A House - You know you have squirrels in the home, but you still would rather deal with the problem yourself instead of calling an exterminator. If that is the case then you may be asking yourself what exterminators use to kill squirrels in a house. Pose that question to people who are not professional exterminators and they will more than likely say poison. While the answer makes sense and some exterminators do use poison, it is not the number one answer. In fact most exterminators will use traps instead of poison.
Traps are better for an exterminator because poison takes a bit of time to work if at all. Squirrels my not be enticed to have the poison and in those cases the poison is ineffective. Traps on the other hand if placed in the right location can get the job done in just a few minutes. Because of the experience that an exterminator will have, he/she will know exactly where and how to place the trap so that the squirrel goes into the trap and out of the home. Some exterminators will use non-lethal traps with mammals and then they will release them away from the home where they will not be able to return.

Fayetteville Animal Services Makes Recent Changes
City officials are also rethinking a ban on pit bulls in Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, and Bella Vista. The city's staff attorney presented legislation this month that would ban any new pit bulls from coming into the city. The language would also place restrictions on pit bull breeds grandfathered in.
Since the presentation, city officials have received feedback from residents and nonresidents across the country, including dog organizations. Camille Thompson, the city staff attorney, said animal control officers are researching other ordinances submitted to the city by animal organizations. Those ordinances were not breed-specific.
Animal control officers still have concerns, Thompson said. While there might be some modification of the proposed ordinance, Thompson said some of the restrictions could stay. They want to be preventive, she said. Washington County and Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, and Bella Vista animal control says it will continue to help with domestic animal issues, but not with Arkansas wildlife problems.
Council members, who tabled a second reading of the proposed ordinance that would ban pit bulls, said they want to find a balance between punishing and prevention. Washington County animal services in Fayetteville, Arkansas, declined to comment on the matter.
