Florida is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Cape Coral wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some Cape Coral animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
Lee County Animal Control
for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses,
pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Lee County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

Cape Coral Wildlife Tip:
Can You Use Sulphur To Get Rid Of Rodents - One of the remedies that people use to get rid of rodents is sulfur. The smell of sulfur is actually one of the very few repellents that work and it is not necessarily something that is sold as such. In fact most of the commercial repellents turn out to be a complete waste of time and money. But you will not be using sulfur as a material that you can find anywhere; if you are going to use sulphur to get rid of rodents then that will probably mean that you will have to get sulfur-based oil or something that is similar to that.
There are oils that you can almost get anywhere so that you can use them to rid yourself of rodents. The best examples of sulfur based oils are mustard and vegetable oils. You will have to mix 2 to 3 spoonful of either one of those oils and about two full cups of water in a spray bottle and then proceed to spray those areas that you want to protect from rodents. Keep in mind that this is a home remedy that you have to keep applying to the area for a few days and though it is effective it is not 100 percent guaranteed.

Animal Services - Pet-friendly push in Florida
"In November, we're attending the Florida Animal Control Association Conference where we'll talk to counties in Florida that have them," said Bruce The dog and cat control man, Lee Animal Control director. "We'll find out how to get appthe dog and cat control manl and government support, and how to manage them successfully." For more information, call the animal services of Cape Coral, Florida.
The dog and cat control man said the county has looked into the issue before but ran into roadblocks. American Red Cross-run kennels are in public buildings, and no pets are allowed in such buildings, he said. Lee County animal control says it will continue to help with domestic animal issues, but not with Florida wildlife problems.
"There is also liability involved," he said.Learning how to navigate the bureaucratic red tape, along with staffing and supply requirements, will be discussed at the November conference, he said. Lee County animal services in Cape Coral, Florida, declined to comment on the matter.
One of the biggest hurdles is manpower."We're going to need some volunteers to staff the kennels," The dog and cat control man said. "My staff of six kennel helpers are busy with things here."
Wildlife - Exotic snakes are becoming a problem in Florida
People giggled over last week's story about the 10-foot African rock python that went missing after it swallowed a turkey in Miami. Florida has an abundance of wildlife, and Cape Coral is no exception.
They grimaced when reading reports of a 12-foot Burmese python that was caught earlier after it ate a cat belonging to a homeowner in Miami Gardens. Although several species of wildlife roam Cape Coral, only a few, such as raccoons and squirrels, are considered pest wildlife.
They gasped at that photo taken last month of a 13-foot python that tried to swallow a 6-foot alligator in the Everglades. The snake's eyes were too big for its stomach -- as was the alligator -- and the python exploded. Florida has many reptiles, and it's important to be able to identify Cape Coral snake species and mammals.
This sounds like a South Florida sideshow worthy of P.T. Barnum. But it's not. The nightmare caused by hundreds of breeding Burmese pythons can occur here in Central Florida and, worse, we may not even know it. Remember to treat the wild animals of Cape Coral, Florida, with respect and care.
