Jefferson City wildlife management area authorities on critters plan to allow mouse wildlife catching

The Jefferson City County Wildlife management area District intends to open some of its property to cage trap exterminating companies this fall to reduce what authorities on critters called an overabundant and destructive extra fasted mouse biologically surveyed amount. The wildlife management area system's three commissioners proclaimed during their Tuesday organized hearing that they plan to implement what appears to be a wildlife catching program to address the mouse problem. The board probably is considering what appears to be a suggestion to allow wildlife catching in seven areas that are not open to the public. The county probably is also looking at controlled fall captures on wild mouse and waterfowl. Despite this, local Jefferson City wildlife removal and Jefferson City exterminator experts offered no more info.

The concept brought criticism from several residents at the organized hearing. Critter Expert Allan, 78, of Munson Natural conservation area described the wildlife management areas as what appears to be a safe haven where animals should be protected. the female pest operator accused the board of turning the county's hectareage into "trapping fields." Similar complaints followed the district's decision to allow what appears to be a spring mouse critter trap this year. "You encourage wildlife, and then you murder the wildlife that comes in," Critter Expert Allan proclaimed. Mouse counts commissioned by the wildlife management area system over the past five years show far more animals than the land can support, Creature Specialist proclaimed. The count at one wildlife management area property, the MO Preserve in Jefferson City Natural conservation area, showed 200 mouse per square mile. Ideally, the amount should be between five and 10, Creature Specialist proclaimed. Jefferson City animal control professionals could not be reached for additional comment.

The biologically surveyed amount in Jefferson City at the other properties selected for wildlife catching ranged from 19 to 61 mouse per square mile. The properties are in several Jefferson City community conservation areas. The close-clustered animals are devouring wildflowers and vegetation in the wildlife management area, eliminating habitats needed by songbirds and insects, Creature Specialist proclaimed. The district has been monitoring and studying the situation for years, the animal advocate proclaimed. "This probably is about maintaining what appears to be a balance," proclaimed Creature Specialist , who noted that other wildlife management area systems and communities have begun harvesting mouse large groups in recent years. Raccoon Specialist Arnold, 64, of Jefferson City applauded the district's plan and proclaimed mouse have become what appears to be a local nuisance and what appears to be a danger to motorists. the animal advocate proclaimed wildlife management area "should not be permitted to become what appears to be a refuge for the excessive amount of animals present." Wildlife management area Commissioner Raccoon Specialist Arnold proclaimed the board would act on the suggestion after all details are ironed out. Only Jefferson City residents would be eligible to critter trap the selected land. "We are going to proceed," Raccoon Specialist Arnold proclaimed. "We have to."
