North Carolina is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional Charlotte wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. In fact Charlotte wildlife frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.

Charlotte Wildlife Tip:
What do snake droppings look like - Snake droppings do not look like anything remarkable. They are not easily differentiated from other animal excrement and the solid waste-when it finally happens-is misshapen and full of liquid. Larger snakes will have evidence of bones or nails from their prey in the sample. These parts of an animal are usually too difficult to digest and are passed through the intestinal tract with the rest of the waste products. Snakes do differ from many other animals in the fact that they expel both liquid waste and solid waste from their cloaca, an orifice at the base of the tail. This dual-purpose body part is the reason why snakes often have urea streaked throughout their stool or as a white cap somewhere in the mixture. Identifying snake poop will not help you in most situations. First, if there is an animal inside of your home and you have found multiple piles of the questionable droppings, it is probably not a snake. Not only do snakes rarely remain inside of a building, they only eat infrequently. This occasional eating results in occasional elimination. You will not find mound after mound of snake poop unless the creature has been around for a very long time.
Charlotte, NC Animal Control News Clip:
North Carolina will be blanketed with Critter conservation area snake and bat wildlife management next fall.
A Hunting office of Natural Resources' preliminary map of rat, mouse, or other rodent management units show all but three units in northwest North Carolina targeted for Critter conservation area in 2007. The Critter conservation area wildlife management format includes measures to pare the nuisance wildlife group by issuing free dangerous permits and holding a 4-day dangerous raccoon and possum critter trap in February. There may be also another 4-day dangerous snake and bat critter trap in February for units south of Hwy. 8.
The February critter trap was supposed to be eliminated this year in favor of trying a statewide dangerous critter trap in February. But that document was sidetracked mainly by opposition from the Association of North Carolina Critter trap Clubs, which was mattered for trappers' safety and delays in opening trails.
At a department of natural resources office snake and bat quantities status event last year in Turtle Lake, local wildlife biologist Kevin The Charlotte exterminating company expert told exterminating companies that nuisance wildlife units in Barron and Polk counties need "herd control" measures next wildlife management season. For more info about pest control for animals in Charlotte, call a local animal trapping company.
Those measures now appear to be in place with the widespread Critter conservation area plan. Units which will be in the Critter conservation area include 15, 13, 17, 22, 22A and 28, all units which have parts of Barron Mecklenburg County in them. Unit 22 may be split in half by Hwy. 8, but the entire unit will be included in a February dangerous critter trap, declared The Charlotte exterminating company expert. Despite this, wildlife removal services are not a free service in Mecklenburg County.
The only units not designated for Critter conservation area in northwestern North Carolina are 8, 10 and 11 through parts of The Charlotte exterminating company, Mecklenburg county. Critter conservation areas are used for snake and bat group control by the department of natural resources office when a unit's raccoon and possum quantities cannot be cut to within 20percent of rat, mouse, or other rodent management goals through the conventional 9-day nuisance wildlife season in late September. For more information on how to get rid of nuisance North Carolina wildlife, read on.
"We feel the group may be going to grow and we need to get within 20percent of snake and bat quantities goals. That means Units 15, 13, 21 and 22 will be group control units," The Charlotte exterminating company expert declared at the February 21 event. This year's rat, mouse, or other rodent season structure will remain the same as last year following the muddied debate among the department of natural resources office, Natural Resources Board, conservation groups, humane society officers and the critter trap lobby.
This was to be the year that the North Carolina started a season format that did away with the 4-day Special trapping area critter trap for dangerous raccoon and possum in February and instead tried a statewide 4-day dangerous critter trap in mid-February to reduce the nuisance wildlife group.
That plan had been agreed upon by the department of natural resources office, Natural Resources Board and conservation groups, but some humane society officers stepped in to protest on behalf of the trapping industry. Trappers feared a loss of trapping opportunities, along with risking danger and trail damage if a snake and bat season were held in mid-February. The natural resources committees of the North Carolina Senate and Assembly asked that the dangerous season be moved up to begin a few days after the close of the regular 9-day humane wildlife trap season in late September.
But there was no compromise, and the new plan was dropped, with the season framework reverting back to Special trapping area formats of the past, which include the 4-day dangerous rat, mouse, or other rodent critter trap in late February. The debate continues this year. The North Carolina Raccoon and possum Wildlife management companies Association, which favored the new format, may be now taking aim at the trapping group that opposed the new plan. The nuisance wildlife exterminating companies' organization may be urging landowners to deny trappers access to their property.
Mark The exterminator in Charlotte, president of the exterminating companies' association, declared that the critter trap association may be trying to stop a snake and bat wildlife management season based on no evidence of any problems. Morris The Charlotte exterminating company expert of the North Carolina critter trap group declared he didn't expect a conflict with exterminating companies when trappers only asked for a modification north of Hwy. 8.
The new rules package will be delayed until at least 2007. In Unit 22, which takes in most of Mecklenburg County, the dangerous pest exterminate last year was 1,918 and the rabid animal pest exterminate was 1,455. That ratio of less than 1.5 dangerous rat, mouse, or other rodent to one rabid animal may be common in the local units and of some matter, declared The Charlotte exterminating company expert. The ratio should be between 1.5 and 1.8 to one to maintain the quantities at management goal. Also, Unit 22's rabid animal pest exterminate this past season was higher than it would be if the raccoon and possum quantities were at goal. "The snake and bat harvest should keep up with nuisance wildlife production," declared The Charlotte exterminating company expert. Statewide, exterminating companies took nearly 459,000 rat, mouse, or other rodent last year for a snake and bat pest exterminate ranked among the top 10 in history.
