Washington is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I recommend professional University Place wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, we specialize in animals in the attic, which have broken into the house and almost always have a nest of baby animals. It is necessary to perform correct preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. Some University Place animals frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
DOG or CAT: If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
Pierce County Animal Control
for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses,
pet adoption, lost pets, and more. If you have a wildlife problem, you can try calling the Pierce County animal control, and see what they have to
say, but they will certainly not help you with a complex wildlife problem such as critters in your attic. They are a free government agency that
helps with dog and cat issues only.

University Place Wildlife Tip:
Are foxes dangerous to humans?
With more and more foxes walking about in the cities, a fear that foxes are a danger to humans is a fairly normal question to ask. Foxes have been portrayed as an animal which is dirty and evil. But can it harm you?
Shyness
One of the greatest advantages for humans is the fact that the majority of Foxes are shy (apart from the ones that have lived in cities for ages as they have started to become more confident) and do not pose a threat to humans unless they have been backed into a corner, which they then may bite you. This can be a problem due to the diseases that it may carry, so a quick check up by a doctor to make sure you don't need anything is advised if you have been bitten).
Behavior
In general, due to our size foxes won't attack us for food, and so there is no point attacking up at all. The actual number of reported attacks is extremely rare. These have also been because of a reason, either they were defending themselves, they were protecting their den (they are very protective over their cubs), or the were in dire straights for food. But mainly foxes have associated humans with food, so they do not hassle us.
But what about rabies?
Granted rabies is possible in foxes. However this is fairly rare. Furthermore, the transmission from rabies from a fox to a human is even rarer still. Other diseases that it may pick up such as mange don't affect us.
