If you need wildlife removal, click for the National Directory of
Wildlife Removal Companies that I've carefully compiled in every USA city.
In my job as a wildlife control operator, I usually deal with the same 8 types of animals: raccoons, squirrels, rats, opossums, armadillos, snakes, bats, and birds. However, from time to time I get a chance to handle an
uncommon species. I really relish these jobs. The above photos are all of animals that I don't usually handle. If you want to learn more, please read my How To Get Rid of Alligators page.
Time for some gator-aid - If I asked you to pick up an alligator like this in your hands, there is a greater likelihood of you thinking I have gone crazy than coming forward and seeing for yourself how harmless these creatures can be. In fact, an alligator this small (yes, four feet is small by alligator standards. Try picturing the crocs Steve Irwin used to prance around with) would probably be more scared of you than you are of him. I know, I know it is not even remotely as pretty as butterflies and ladybugs but once you become more familiar with them, you will realize they are not that bad after all.
Now, let me make one thing clear here. I do not deal with gators or crocs. Never have and probably never will. This message is actually intended to those frantic callers who call me up for gator removal from their properties. I am no Steve Irwin nor am I a National Geographic enthusiast. The picture may make you think otherwise, with my khaki suit and expert alligator handling skills (or so I would like to believe). Typically if you spot a gator around your house or property, the best idea is to call the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission (visit them at http://www.floridaconservation.org/).
You may wonder that if I deny any involvement with gators, why I am holding one in my hand so proudly. Well, this was more of a voluntary effort than a paid job. More than once I have encountered situations where homeowners would be scared out of their wits after discovering a gator in their backyard. Lucky for them, I happened to pass by and immediately reached the scene. What I simply did was to grab it tightly around its mouth and thorax, gaining complete control over it and then just let it slide into a nearby lake (not before I snapped some shots with it, though).
AAAnimal Control is a privately owned wildlife removal and pest control business, located in Orlando Florida. I deal strictly with wild animals including ones that have died inside houses. I am not an extermination company, but a critter removal
and control specialist. The above photos are some of the many that I've taken in the field over my years of work. Please email me if
you have any questions about the above photographs, or any questions about
wildlife problems or Florida wildlife removal issues.
