There are many situations in which you can find yourself coming into contact with a nest of baby skunks, but in most cases this will be if you have found them in a cavity in a shed, under a shed or under the porch of a domestic property. The babies are usually born in May and early June, and take several months to grow to maturity, so it is worth noting that in most cases if it is earlier in the year or in the fall or winter, the nest will usually be empty.
