Tampa Armadillo Control & Removal

Digging in Your Yard? Armadillos are a common nuisance species in the Tampa Bay area, though they usually inhabit suburban areas, and are less common in more heavily-populated urban sections of Tampa. Armadillos are nocturnal animals. They sleep almost 20 hours per day. But when they are active, they furiously root around, digging up the yard, flower beds, etc looking for earthworms and grubs. They also burrow underground, where they sleep. They often dig large holes right next to homes, or in the shrubs, or under the porch or concrete deck. They can dig very large burrows, and often leave a very large pile of soil outside of the hole. They can remove enough dirt from underneath a house or concrete deck to undermine the support and cause foundation cracking. We humanely trap and relocate these interesting and unusual critters - armadillo trapping is not easy, but we have a perfect success rate.
