California is full of wildlife, including snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, and more. Wildlife removal is a complex field. I
recommend professional Richmond wildlife control services if you want to solve a critter problem legally and correctly. For example, it is necessary to perform correct
preventative repairs to keep pest animals a out of your house for good. We perform full building inspection, do the
the repairs and we also offer attic decontamination if necessary. Rats and mice love to live in attics, and can chew wires or leave droppings. In fact Richmond wildlife
frequently enter homes, and correct removal is not a simple task.
Richmond, California is home to approximately 103,000 people, the majority of which are African American and Latino. One interesting fact is that Richmond used to be the residence of the Black Panther Party but today the majority of growth is from the Latino population. Richmond is located in Contra Costa County, and is within the San Francisco Bay. It was once the home of the world's largest wineries, but it was closed in 1919 by Prohibition. Other failing industries include gunpowder and dynamite works, shipbuilding, and whaling. The majority of these industries died at the end of World War II, just after an influx of African Americans arrived to work on the shipyards. Today, Richmond is known for its numerous regional parks and casinos. We also service the towns of Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, Fisherman's Wharf, Western Addition, Castro and also animal control in Oceanview, Bayview District, Outer Richmond, Portola District, Cole Valley and pest control in Union Square, Outer Sunset, North Beach, Tenderloin, Hayes Valley, West Portal and wild animal services in Haight, Pacific Heights, Noe Valley, Mission District, Potrero Hill, Panhandle and wildlife management in Bernal Heights, Inner Richmond, Chinatown, Inner Sunset, Stonestown.
If you need assistance with a domestic animal, such as a dog or a cat, you need to call your local
Contra Costa County
for assistance. They can help you out with issues such as stray dogs, stray cats, vaccinations, licenses,
pet adoption, lost pets, and more. No county in California will assist with wildlife control situations, and there is no free Richmond
animal control services for wildlife.

Richmond Wildlife Tip:
Snake poo - There are a number of animals that leave long, cylindrical droppings but the snake is not one. Snake poo is often a moist mess, indistinguishable from many other animals except for the white urea caps and lack of plant fiber. Even then, it is hard to say for certain that you have definitely found snake poo. The best thing you can do is try to eliminate the possibility that another animal is the culprit. Mammal waste can often be very characteristic to that animal. Look for evidence that would eliminate birds and other smaller creatures from the list. If you only encounter the poo periodically and it varies in appearance each time, it can be very likely that of a snake. Snakes do not use their feces in the way of rodents, who mark their territories with it. A snake expels solid and liquid material all at once and as frequently as it eats. This occasional pile of poo is infrequent enough that you will probably never happen upon it unless you are suffering from an infestation.

Animal Services - On Patrol With Animal Control of Richmond
While the vast majority of dog bites go unreported, animal control officers say the real problem is getting dog owners to control their pets. Officer Karl Randall, Richmond police, animal services: "The dogs to me aren't that bad. You can get them with a pole, you know. But the people, you know, are the ones that give you a hard time." For more information, call the animal services of Richmond, California.
One property has been a chronic problem. Their dogs have been biting people. One dog has been shot before because it tried to attack the police officer Officer Karl Randall, Richmond police, animal services: "Every time we come here they say they don't have dogs - which they do, because we just got one." Contra Costa County animal services in Richmond, California, declined to comment on the matter.
Officer Karl Randall sees it again and again. Officer Karl Randall, Richmond police, animal services: "A lot of people will claim, 'Well, it's not mine,' or, 'It ran away,' and we have to continue on following this up until we get the dog." When animal control does get them, they'll come to Richmond's animal shelter. Often dogs will be abandoned when owners find out the animal must be spayed or neutered before it is released. For backyard breeders, a fixed dog has lost its value. Unless it is adopted, it will be put down. Contra Costa County animal control says it will continue to help with domestic animal issues, but not with California wildlife problems.
Insecticide targets pests In Richmond
"The Pest Extreme Lotion results were incredible," said Smithers, noting that while there was little discernible difference between the three plots to start with, after 13 days there was a marked increase in the resurgence of beneficial insects and predatory mites, and a real abundance of them compared with the conventionally treated plots. The Contra Costa County Pest Control board could not be reached for comment.
So impressed was Smithers that when he was called in to advise on a severe mite infestation at Tesch Farms in Mettler Ranch, Calif., he didn't hesitate to recommend Pest Extreme Lotion. "The mites were so bad there was extreme webbing and leaf defoliation in the fruit trees. To my surprise not only did Pest Extreme Lotion knock down the mites, but after two and a half weeks the pest mortality was still continuing and the beneficials were becoming established," he said. "My recommendation would be to apply Pest Extreme Lotion by ground to get adequate coverage, and to spray by air when ground rigs can't be used." There are many types of insects and animals in Richmond, and other California cities, but not all of them are pests after all.
"Pest Extreme Lotion's success doesn't come as a surprise," said Ramon Georgis, vice president of EcoStart's agricultural division. "Years of formulation development and field efficacy research with universities and growers have enabled us to introduce a product to the conventional and organic market that is reliable, cost effective, predictable and safe to the environment," he said. Most local owners of pest control companies in Richmond, California weren't sure what to make of all this.
"The bottom line is simple," said Smithers. "If a product doesn't work, it's no good. We're pretty gun-shy when it comes to the 'latest' new product but Pest Extreme Lotion has proved to me, my growers, and other PCAs at Wilbur Ellis, that it works really well. Not only that, it's price-efficient, it's environmentally friendly, it's organic, and it's easy to use. I'm actually excited to see what else I can use it on!" he concluded. Richmond pest control is an important part of the local economy, but only a few California companies deal with wild animals.
